As I walked into Kat's for lunch today, I was struck by how much the place reminded me of a northern Wisconsin diner. I sat at the counter and was immediately greeted by Wendy, my friendly server.I chose the Mediterranean Skillet, which was phenomenal! As I enjoyed my lunch, a couple of gentleman ( obvious regulars ) sat down next to me and soon we were speaking to one another like old friends! Again, the food was excellent... But it is the atmosphere and the people that will make me want to return. A real surprise. Thank you, Kat's!

Not sure if it's new owners or if they just changed things up drastically. They went from a good place to get breakfast to an AWESOME place to get breakfast. Everything I've had so far has been delicious!

Me and my Pastor,came and ate here this morning.Great mom,and pop, Reastarant.Great food,great scenery out side,great service where it eas well maintained,and what I like the most,the waitress treat you like family oh and one more thing,they do not give you your oder to pay for your food until you ask for it.Thank you Kats!I will be back.

A cute little place with good service and a friendly atmosphere. I had a very nice house omelette and potatoes with toast. Definitely recommended.

amazing food and our waitress was wonderful. we ordered the kiddo meal of mickey mouse pancakes and it was legit the size of a large plate, served with bacon and her drink. good vibe, good location. not too busy, even with a baseball team present. our waitress went above and beyond & was incredibly friendly. will visit again! recommend to all!

The food was as I would have expected. Tried the strawberry banana smoothie, I wouldn't get it again because it had too much ice, not enough fruit or banana. My country fried steak was pretty good though and the eggs came as ordered.The other commentor who mentioned the butter being fake had it right, everything would have been much better with real butter.Service was good.

Absolutely my new favorite breakfast place. Great service and the food is all made from scratch at a decent price too.

If you crave made from scratch food with wholesome ingredients you must go to Kat’s Restaurant! The view on the hilltop is spectacular. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes with real maple syrup. Homemade butter and jam.Best homemade corned beef hash with real organic farm eggs. Wendy’s service will leave you with a big smile .

Update: Owner is correct and ammending my review to 5 stars. Please go visit.This place recently reopened. The menu is new and much improved and the food was excellent and well priced. Unfortunately a new coat of paint and the entire restaurant still sort of smells like a musty basement. It was also in the 30s outside and the heat wasn't on. Most of the staff were wearing thick coats inside, it was very cold. Great food, great menu, experience needs some work.

Fabulous, fantastic best food ever!! Great home cooking! You can taste the care they put in the food. Friendly and personable. Owner came over and talked with us. Will DEFINITELY be back and will tell our friends!!! You have to go here!

Amazing food! The chef is very talented. The waitstaff is welcoming the moment you walk through the doors. Service is impeccable ! Superb breakfast and lunch. Farm to table non antibiotic eggs bone in ham fresh fruit sub at no extra charge at the hands of a master. New owners have created a special place.

Have been here two times, once for brunch and the other time for dinner. Both times I have been underwhelmed and unsatisfied with my food. The portions are tiny and the food is barely edible. I'm not one to complain about food very often, but wow this place needs a different menu or different cook. Both times our waitresses bailed on us and were left stranded without service and empty drinks while the restaurant was not very busy. The only reason I'm giving two stars was due to the friendly owner that came and sit down and talked to us about random life stuff.

Basically tradition to come back here to have breakfast every once in a while. Feels very welcoming and homey. I love it! :)

Cute cafe, family friendly. I had a skillet breakfast, substituted spinach for tomato. Staff was friendly and said any substitutions could be made. They wanted me to enjoy what I ordered. Annette was a wonderful server.

Website needs to be updated, they do Not serve breakfast all day. Place could definitely use a remodel! Friendly staff, as long as you don't come within 20 minutes of closing time

HUGEEEE thank you to the new staff at Kat’s cafe for making my daughter’s 3rd birthday even more magical! They gave her a Disney princess sticker book, what a fantastic first visit 10/10 would recommend. The food was also phenomenal! Our server being Wendy thank you!

NEW MANAGEMENT! Excellent food! So I happened to stumble upon this place while looking for a good lunch spot, happy to say it’s now one of my favorites after my second visit! Food comes out fast and hot. The staff is so happy and love what they do and it shows through the food and service! Today I had the daily special Greek Chicken Souvlaki and delicious. My friend had the country fried steak and eggs , wow did it smell good. And the table next had pancakes and man that looked so good! Yea stop in, give it a shot, u won’t be disappointed.
